It allows us to find a shed antler. Perhaps it was last years since this is a "familiar crossing" for the White tail buck. He easily clear the old barbwire fence wearing this years set of antlers with pride.

In the sculpture they are just starting to fan out. The elk is another sculpture showing him up to his belly in deep snow and he is looking back as he hears the wolves. They make a great set.
