"Working with Clay" Workshops
|
This class will provide you with a basic
introduction and a comprehensive hands-on experience.
You will discover the responsive quality of clay, and create your own
masterpiece sculpture.
Classes are available at all levels of experience and kept to a maximum of
four students. This ensures that a high degree of individual attention is
given to everyone.
The workshop will focus on sculpting techniques and will include 15 hours of
instruction over a two day weekend which runs from 9 am to 5 pm and also a 3 session
class on Sundays 10 am to 4 pm. Bring your own lunch.
SUPPLY LIST
Supplied with class: ½ Box of Clay (25 lbs), Tool Kit
Not supplied with class that you will need to bring to the class:
melamine board approx. 12 inch square or larger, plastic bag to cover work,
flannel cloth (size of pillow case), reference materials (subjects you would
like to sculpt), rolling pin (optional), small plastic container with lid
(margarine container), spray bottle, and a small sponge

CABIN ACCOMMODATIONS – special class price $25/person
The cabin has four beds, 3 piece bathroom, kitchenette, and use of hot tub.
You will have to bring your own bedding, towels, and food. If you wish to
bring your RV instead of staying in the cabin there is space available to

2010 CLASS DATES
January 16 & 17, Saturday & Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm
February 6 & 7, Saturday & Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm
3 WEEK SESSION starts February 17th? (Sundays) and is the next three
consecutive weeks after. Class time is 10 am to 4 pm
