For as long as I can remember I have been a horse person. I was a horse crazy kid and was fortunate enough to grow up in a part of the world where I could actually have one. My whole life has been involved with horses in some way or another, so naturally, it is where most of my interest has been in as an artist. Therefore I have mainly focused my artwork over the past several years on equine art. Stick to what you know best as they say.

The sun is just showing on the horizon as the cowboy tops the last ridge to gaze down at the sights of town. He had been riding for miles to participate in the cowboy competition he had heard about from the neighboring ranches. In anticipation of the excitement in the day and evening ahead, the cowboy waves his hat and shouts in the crisp morning air "I'm Goin' Stampedin'".

Hart of Oklahoma and Copenhagen Kodiak. On the last buck just before the whistle blew, the bull caught his back leg in the bucking chutes and broke his hip. He was humanely destroyed after the rodeo. This was Copenhagen Kodiak's last dance. An end to a great rodeo bull.
